lezhinus is decent if you’re patient and don’t mind waiting for free coins. I like that they run offers and events sometimes, because it lets me read a few chapters without having to pay right away. That said, the free coins aren’t always that easy to get, and they disappear quickly. Some series also cost a lot of coins, so it can get frustrating when you’re really into a story. Overall, it’s not bad, but it does feel limited unless you’re willing to spend money.

I use Lezhin for a few series and, the app and site are mostly fine. Some of the comics are really good, and I do like that the chapters are licensed instead of just random uploads, you know? But... I’ve also seen enough complaints from creators about pay, contracts, and licensing stuff that it makes me feel a bit uneasy. I don’t know all the details, so I’m not trying to act like I do, but it definitely makes me pause before buying coins. So yeah, 3 stars from me. It’s good for reading legit releases, but I really wish they were more transparent and fair with the artists.

The art is another thing, it’ll look amazing in the beginning, then randomly drop in quality later on. Like, make it make sense. The translations can be awkward too, almost like the dialogue doesn’t sound like how real people would talk. For what it costs, I expected things to feel a lot more consistent. It’s not the worst app/site out there, but for me, it wasn’t really worth it.

The alerts come in on time and actually match the updates, which I appreciate. I haven’t gotten any weird spam so far either. Overall, it works good for me

I wanted to use Lezhin more because some of the comics are actually really good, but I keep running into titles that say they’re not available in my region. What makes it more frustrating is that the app still shows them like I can read them, so I end up clicking around for no reason.

I had an issue with a charge on lezhinus.com and, like a lot of customers probably would, I figured it was going to turn into a whole hassle. I opened a dispute and it did take support a little while to get back to me, but once they did, they asked for the right info and explained things clearly enough. The refund showed up after a few days. It wasn’t instant, and I do think the first response could’ve been quicker, but they did sort it out without making me constantly follow up. I’d give them 4 stars.
